**FATIGUE AND LUPUS** So many people suffer from lupus or other autoimmune diseases nowadays. I am one of them. I have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. It is most common for women in their 30s and 40s to start displaying symptoms and it is often genetic, but can in rare cases be caused by other things. Flares may come and go. Stress and illnesses can trigger them. One of the biggest struggles I have is due to fatigue during flares. Up to 80% of people with lupus say that fatigue is a primary symptom. About 40% of people with lupus have fatigue that's severe and doesn't go away. Just about everyone with lupus will struggle with fatigue at one time or another. Be kind to yourself when flaring. It is **ok** to give yourself grace, especially as we age. Blessings to you all!
